Artist Bio:

David Khang's interdisciplinary practice is informed by education in psychology, theology, dentistry, and law. Khang uses language and his body as materials to interrogate the intersecting relationships between gender, race, class, and species. By site-specifically deploying non-native languages and incongruous materials, Khang evokes dissonant readings towards re-imagining of poetics and politics.

Liam Hockley is a dynamic performer and advocate for new and experimental music. His debut album Pulse Tide was named one of The Wire’s 10 best Modern Classical releases of 2024, who praised his playing as “vigorous and forensic, grappling with this music’s overall physicality, while also paying microscopic attention to its fine details, its agitated particles and molecular trails.” Liam holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of British Columbia, where his research focused on performer agency in contemporary idioms. He teaches clarinet and chamber music at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and maintains an active freelance career throughout British Columbia.

Jason de Couto is a professional Vancouver, B.C. musician focused primarily on piano and keyboards. He works with a variety of musicians, ensembles, and multi-disciplinary artists in an array of styles and genres. He holds degrees from UBC, SFU, Capilano, and City University, and is currently also a teacher and counsellor working in the North Vancouver Municipal and School District.
